Project scope :

The MRT Orange Line - east section connects Bangkok metropolitan area to Bangkok's eastern suburbs. Total 22.5 km of the east section comprises 13.7 km underground section with total 10 stations which will interchange with the MRT Blue Line at Thailand Cultural Center station, and 8.8 km elevated section with total 7 stations which will interchange with the MRT Yellow Line at Lam Sali station. Other project relevant facilities include mass transit maintenance depot, Operation Center, 11 intervention shafts, and Park & Ride building.

Accomplishments :

Services provided include: Acting on contract project management and technical issues, coordination with all parties involved in the Project in the fulfilment of their contractual obligations. Assisting MRTA to expedite and control the construction / installation work to a successful completion with proper interfacing among contracts. Supervising Contractors’ activities for conformity with their contracts and provide good engineering services through the design review, approval, inspection, and construction supervision including the commissioning of the Project. Working closely with MRTA staffs to survey, study and assess the potential sites along the project route alignment and around the station, depot and park & ride buildings which may be developed to intermodal transfer facility or be developed according to Transit Oriented Development (TOD) concept.
