Project scope :

The project comprises construction of flexible and rigid pavement structure for 2 runways (1x 3,700 and 1 x 4,000 m.), 26 km long taxiways, 40 km long main and secondary drainage canals, 10 km long main drainage culverts, and 550,000 sq.m of Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC). These require the production of approximately 250,000 sq.m PQC, 500,000 sq.m of structure culvert, 1,490,000 cu.m Cement Treated Bases (CTB), 450,000 cu.m sand-cement, 600,000 cu.m asphalt and 7,000 tons of bituminous prime and tack coat. Other works include visual aids system (7,200 airfield ground lights, 93 visual docking guidance points, 92 high mast, and 4 AGL buildings) and other associated airfield facilities.
