Project scope |
The manufacturing plant has a site area of
15.8 acres (40 rais) and is located in the Bangkadi
Industrial Park in Pathumthani Province. The project
includes a 27,000 sq.m. reinforced concrete plant
with full electrical/mechanical installation and
all peripheral works. The main building comprises
areas for office, factory, cafeterial / kitchen,
pilot plant, shipping/receiving and electrical/mechanical
facilities. The building structure is reinforced
concrete with flat slab floors. The shiping/receiving
area has a steel truss with metal deck. In order
to shorten the constructin period and minimize the
construction cost, pretressed hollow core panels
were used for the rood slab and precast panels for
the external cladding. Since the machinery in the
factory is sensitive to settlement, the whole structure
is supported on prestressed precast concrete piles. |
| Accomplishments |
- MAA Consultants Co., Ltd. was awarded the contract
for project management.
- MAA was responsible for the planning, detailed
design, preparation of tender documents/ cost
estimation and a construction supervision of the
entire project.
- As the project manager, MAA organized and coordinated
the professional team including architect, civil/structural
engineers and mechanical/electrical engineers.
